The violinist Tommaso Fracaro was born in Vicenza (Italy) in 1991.
As a child he started playing music on piano, guitar, drums and of course violin.
After obtaining his bachelor degree at the Turin Conservatory of Music he specialized with Felice Cusano in Rome and with Oleksandr Semchuk in Imola.
He is currently studying master with Heime Müller (Artemis Quartet) in Lübeck Music Academy.
He is a founding member of Taag String Quartet (2011-2017), with whom he obtained 1st prize in the Pugnani Competition, 1st prize in the SVIRÉL international competition and various prizes in the Premio Crescendo.
He has participated in many music festivals (Mantova Chamber Music Festival, MiTo, Festival dei Due Mondi di Spoleto, Agimus, Sesto Rocchi) and he has performed in different important halls (Auditorium Gaber in Milan, Teatro Vittoria in Turin, Teatro Ponchielli in Cremona, Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza).
He has attended masterclasses with renowned musicians, such as Hatto Beyerle (Alban Berg Quartet), Antoine Lederlin (Belcea Quartet) Miguel Da Silva (Ysaye Quartet), Amiram Ganz (Altenberg Trio), Simone Bernardini (Berliner Philharmoniker), Antonello Farulli and many others.
He plays on an anonymous italian violin from the late 19th century.
