In 1998 Dmitry received his first violin lessons from Boris Tsoukkerman.
In 1999, he was admitted to the newly founded Van Zweden School of Music in Enschede.
He became a pupil of Ilona Sie Dhian Ho. In september 2003, Dmitry was accepted in the preliminary classes of the Rotterdam Conservatorium.
First he became a pupil of the well-known Dutch violinist Christiaan Bor and finished his Bachelor studies with Benzion Shamir in 2011.
After his bachelor studies Dmitry continued with Peter Brunt and Philippe Graffin in the Royal Conservatory of The Hague.
At the same time Dmitry focused on playing string quartet with the Aristos Quartet, which resulted in the quartet being admitted to the newly founded String Quartet Masterstudies at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, where he also received lessons from the young violinist Maria Milstein.
During this time they received a lot of coaching by renowed teachers like Eberhard Feltz, Peter Cropper, members of the Cuarteto Casals, Heime Müller and Rainer Schmidt.
After the Master studies the quartet was admitted to the Post-Academic String Quartet Studies of the NSKA in Amsterdam which they succesfully finished in 2017.
Dmitry won the second prize in the age category 10-12 years during the Iordens Viooldagen of 2002. In 2006 and 2008 he won the third prize during the Prinses Christina Concours in Rotterdam and therefore played recitals in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Vancouver.
He regularly plays concerts in France, Germany and Romania.
Dmitry thankfully plays a wonderful bow made by Paul Mangenot (Mirecourt) loaned by the Nationaal Istrumenten Fonds.
